Giving
At Sherford Community Church, we believe everything we have comes from God, and that we are called to live generously in response to God’s generosity and goodness. As Christians, we want to follow God’s lead in in all areas of our lives, including in how we use our time and money. The generosity of the church family—volunteering faithfully and giving financially—enables us to pursue our vision to follow in the way of Jesus and play our part in seeing Sherford flourish.
Time
There are loads of opportunities to volunteer with us, to contribute to the church, to make a real difference in our wider community. Whether it’s helping with our kids or youth work, leading one of our groups, starting something new, committing to pray, or something else.
Whatever you feel called to, we’d love to help you explore this, and do our best to support and equip you!
Money
Your generosity enables us to pursue our vision here in Sherford. Regular giving in particular helps us to budget more effectively, and is incredibly helpful. Currently the easiest way to give is by Standing Order using the details on our Giving & Gift Aid Form.
If you’re a taxpayer, please complete and return the Gift Aid Declaration, as this will enable us to claim back any tax paid, and increase your gift by 25%.
